Foodeast Haumako is a popular choice for companies, industry groups and public entities planning their next off-site event.
Centrally located in the horticultural heart of Hastings, and convenient to both Napier and the Hawke’s Bay Airport, Foodeast Haumako is a convenient option for meetings and events.
With flexible areas and break out spaces, we can work with you to create a bespoke event that is perfect for you and your staff and/or customers.
Rooms available for short term hire include our well-appointed board room and a dedicated conference space. In addition, we also have two smaller meeting rooms. All of the rooms have been fitted out with the latest tech.
Having ample parking around the facility means that you and your attendees do not have to worry about finding a carpark. Further, we can take care of the catering and AV requirements for you or work with you and your chosen suppliers.

Board Room
The board room at Foodeast Haumako is elegant and well-appointed.
There is provision for twelve people but more can be added if your numbers exceed that.
The room has modern tech capabilities, meaning remote attendees can join your next board meeting/AGM, management off-site meeting or strategic planning session.
Conference Space
The dedicated conference area at Foodeast Haumako is spacious and light-filled.
With capacity for eighty people in a theatre layout, and a large screen with video conferencing, it is a dynamic location for your next large meeting or conference.
We can also configure the room in a classroom or horseshoe layout, making for a more informal setting for your next workshop or seminar.
Meeting Rooms
There are two smaller meeting rooms available which can be hired by the hour, half day or full day.
Each room seats six people comfortably and has full video-conferencing capability.
